Rarely has one state dominated the Daisy Nationals as completely as South Dakota did at the 2025 match. Not only did teams from the Mount Rushmore State take the top three medals in the Team competition, but many of the individual, Champion and Alternate medals as well.

The Daisy Nationals is a 5-meter, 4-position (Standing, Sitting, Kneeling and Prone) match for youth ages 8-15. Teams from across the country will compete in matches in their home state, and if they place first, second or third in their official State Match, will receive an invitation to compete at the Daisy Nationals.

Taking home the Bronze Medal was the Marshall County Sharp Shooters from Houghton, S.D. Team members are Amelia Crawford, Jacey Melroe, Nick Cutler and Roselyn Rapkoch.

With the Silver Medal was the Humboldt Sharpshooters from Hartford County, S.D. Team members are Kendall Anderson, Hailey Forrest, Ryker Herman, Rowdy Hoing and Elle Stelter.

And taking home the Gold was Roberts County from Rosholt, S.D. Team members are Ella Iverson, Clara Iverson, Kade Bratten, Cheyenne Bratten and Abby Spatz.

Not only did South Dakota teams take the top three medals, but Amelia Crawford from the Marshall County Sharpshooters won the Individual Aggregate National Championship.

Daisy Nationals 2025 Top Gun Winners

In the BB Top Gun Match, which pits the top 10 individual finishers against each other for 10 shots in the standing position, four of the competitors were South Dakota, with Roberts County’s Ella Iverson placing the highest at 4th Place.  The top three Top Gun finishers were Owen Hile of the Penns Valley Shooting team from Spring Mills, PA., in third; Liberty Mettes with the Carbon County Extremes from Bridger, MT; and your 2025 Top Gun Champion is Ashlyn Tilley from the Haralson County, GA team. Ashlyn takes home $3,000 to offset future education costs.

There was a bit more balance in the 10-Meter Airgun Match. In the Individual Aggregate category, Austin Crawford of Houghton, S.D., took third place. In second is Sangone Kim from Suwanee, GA., and the Overall High Aggregate Airgun National Champion is Zachary Purvis of Bowden, GA.

Daisy Nationals Top 3 IndividualsIn the Airgun Team competition, winning the Bronze Medal is the team from Houghton, the Marshall County Sharpshooters. Team members are: Austin Crawford, Grant Cutler, Chris Cutler and Ariana Crawford.

Winning the Silver Medal is the Central Arkansas Hawkeyes out of Conway, AR. Team members are Elliot Martin, Evan Martin, Tayhlor Henson and Kylie Watson.

And the new National Champion, gold medal team is the ARC Rangers from Suwanee, GA. Team members are Sangone Kim, Noah Insung Cho, Jiho Park and Hyerin Roh.

In the Champions Match (shooters who shot last year must sit out of the main competition one year and must shoot in the Champions Match) third place in the Aggregate category is Riley Spatz of Roberts County, S.D. In second is Ema Dissing of Lincoln County, S.D., and the champion is Braylon Plucker, also of Lincoln County, S.D.

In the Alternate category (Alternate shooters get their own match), the High Aggregate Bronze medal goes to Scout Beaufeaux of the BYSS Buffalo Youth Shooting Sports team from Buffalo, MN. The Silver Medal goes to Alivia Crawford of the Marshall County Sharp Shooter from Houghton, S.D., and taking home the Gold Medal is Aubrey Fendley of the Walton County BB Team from Monroe, GA.
